“We believe we are called to take care of people in need using our God given talents.”

Barrett J Phillips, owner & operator BJP Construction, always knew what he wanted to with his career and enrolled in the Carpenter’s Union Apprenticeship Program directly after graduating high school. Carpentry is and always has been at the core of Barrett’s passion, driving an ongoing desire for professional growth throughout his career and his business BJP Construction. On his own, Barrett can frame an entire house in just 8 hours given he has just one person feeding him materials, without sacrificing quality of work; clean, plumb and square. Today after 40 years of owning a general contracting business, overseeing projects from high density townhomes and custom homes to even small storage sheds, the BJP Construction team knows all aspects of the building industry. BJP Construction is competitive, efficient, and fast.

“In my experience, I’ve seen many people that have been taken advantage of by unethical contractors. I believe we are called to take care of people in need using our God given talents. The People Helping People Group helped an elderly neighbor of mine that needed financial help, house cleaning, and yard work. I saw them literally turn his life around and had to get involved. Today, I’m proud to say that I am a member of the People Helping People Group.”

Together we can reach further.

The People Helping People Group solves problems that can’t be solved by an individual entity. They’re business and life alignment specialists that bridge the gap between those in need, those in need of goods & services, & those that provide them.

As a non-profit organization, our mission is to guide and empower the Treasure Valley to help itself through the support of socially responsible local business members that understand and accept the strength of their business can only be that of the community it’s in. The two grow together and together we can reach further.
